Connecting to the DSL Service with the USB Modem
Double-click
the VisionNet 101U icon on your desktop. You will see a similar screen
to the one below. Type in your username and password that was assigned
to you in the corresponding boxes. It is recommended you click Save
password so that you will not have to type this in each time. Click
Connect to finish authentication.
You are now
connected to DSL! Look at the bottom of your screen in the system
tray. You will see two icons that are related to the DSL
service.
Icon #1 is your
VisionNet ADSL Service Manager. Double-Click this icon now. You
will only need to click this icon when you are shutting down your
machine. Before shutting down your machine, click Stop ADSL. This
will allow the ADSL service to disconnect and the service to stop.
Icon #2 is your
Windows Dial-Up Networking Icon. When you use Icon #1 to Stop ADSL, the
Dial-Up Networking connection will end also. You can also disconnect
the ADSL service from this icon by clicking Disconnect. If you double
click on this icon, you will see the following.
